Gracies Leadership Awards ~ CBS Lunch and Learn
CBS is investing in the next generation of women in media! CBS and AWM have partnered to create a unique fellowship program for students pursuing a career in media – those who are clear about their passion to create, tell, direct and connect stories impacting our world. This is a unique opportunity for those who know that media is their true north and whose goal is to be the next Norah O’Donnell, Gayle King, Lara Logan, Emilie Deutsch, Susan Zirinsky or Suzanne Smith!
Up to ten students will be selected to attend the inaugural Gracies Leadership Awards, Tuesday, Nov. 13 at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. Following this empowering luncheon, students will have an opportunity either in the New York or Los Angeles offices (city dependent upon location of student’s university) to participate in a lunch and learn with CBS executives at a date/time to be determined.
Applicants will share why they should be selected to attend the Gracies Leadership Awards and network with leaders in media followed by the lunch and learn at CBS. The application should make clear what differentiates you from others in your field of study.
AWM and CBS strongly encourage creativity in applications including using the field of media being studied as part of telling the story of why you should be selected.
This fellowship will lay the groundwork for students in years to come having an opportunity to connect with leaders and those executing at one of the largest and most successful media brands.
The application deadline for 2018 has passed. Please check back for more information on this opportunity in the future.
