An organization is only as strong as its foundation
The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has supported education, opportunity and recognition of women in media since its inception. In 1960, the Alliance for Women in Media formed an educational foundation – the first of its kind established by any professional broadcasting organization.
The Foundation’s mission is to create positive change in media by supporting educational programs, recognition events, and scholarships that benefit students pursuing careers in media and allied fields.
GRACIES DAY OF GIVING

Join the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) for the inaugural Gracies Day of Giving in honor of Gracie Allen’s birthday on July 26. This special day is dedicated to raising funds that directly impact the foundation’s mission of creating positive change in media by producing educational programs, recognition events and scholarships that benefit students pursuing careers in media. Contributions from Gracies Day of Giving will help fund the Gracies Leadership Awards Fellowship program, enabling students to attend the event on November 19 at Tribeca 360° in NYC.
