Rebekah Dopp is a transformational executive and thought leader in the media and entertainment industry with a proven record of driving growth, innovation, and transformative distribution strategies. As Founder and President of Exponent, a strategy and impact accelerator originally launched at Google, Rebekah has cultivated high-impact initiatives that align visionary ideas with commercial growth and lasting social impact. She has led efforts from concept to execution, crafting groundbreaking programs that resonate deeply with consumers, inspire loyalty, and drive meaningful change. Ann Pero Hailer has drawn on her 30
years of media experience to set the vision that’s driving success for
Locality. Through Ann’s strategic leadership and focus on collaboration, the
company is providing the most advanced solutions for agencies and advertisers
in the local media space with inventory from Locality’s premiere station group
clients. After early-career positions on the station and agency sides of the
business, Ann started as an Account Executive at TeleRep in 1997. She’s held
various leadership roles throughout the organization, most recently Chief
Operating Officer before assuming the President role in 2021. Ann has led Locality’s broadcast team
by passionately focusing on diversity and inclusion. She served as chair for
CMGs D&I Advisory Board from 2017-2019, and sat on their Executive Counsel
for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through 2022. She serves on TVB’s
Executive Board of Directors, the IRTS board, the Alliance for Women in Media’s
membership committee, and has been a member of the Detroit AdCraft Club since
1993, serving on various boards and committees. A proud graduate of Boston College
with a degree in Political Science, Ann and her husband raised their family in
the Detroit area. She is a huge sports fan – cheering her own children through
years of youth sports — and is a longtime, ever-hopeful Detroit Lions season

Previously, Rebekah served as Executive Vice President of Strategy, Distribution, and Affiliate Relations at Nexstar | The CW, where she spearheaded national distribution efforts, including the successful launch of CW Sports, achieving 100% national coverage. At Google, she was instrumental in the launch of YouTube TV, achieving 99%+ local affiliate adoption and surpassing competitors in vMVPD local market penetration. Earlier in her career, Rebekah was a key leader on the launch teams for iconic streaming platforms CBS All Access (now Paramount+) and HBO GO, solidifying her reputation as a pioneer in the evolution of the streaming industry.
Rebekah excels at navigating complex challenges and fostering forward-thinking solutions. She is renowned for negotiating multi-year, high-impact agreements across MVPD, vMVPD, and OTT platforms, consistently aligning corporate goals with dynamic market trends. Her leadership extends to corporate board service, including her role as an Independent Director for Tilray (NASDAQ: TLRY), recognized as Bloomberg’s “Most Successful IPO of 2018” and included in TIME’s “100 Most Influential Companies” list of 2021.
Rebekah also has a deep commitment to nonprofit service, including serving as Board Chair of the Child Abuse Prevention Program (CAPP) and as a Trustee for the New York Foundling, where she has helped guide impactful initiatives supporting children and families in need.
Rebekah earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The College of William & Mary. She completed executive training at Stanford Directors’ College and Harvard Business School and is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Fellow.
Rebekah is a recipient of the prestigious Gracies Leadership Award and has been a featured speaker at renowned global conferences, including CES, NAB, TVOT, and Women Execs on Boards at Harvard. She is an active member of the Alliance for Women in Media and a WICT Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Fellow. She has also served on advisory boards for Dentons Women in Tech, BWG Strategy, and Bonfire Digital Wellness, leveraging her expertise to support the next generation of transformative initiatives.
