AWM Member Networks are the perfect way for members to connect, meet, and discuss topics of interest to them in their career as well as to make connections across all the media verticals we represent (radio/audio, television and digital).
About AWM Member Networks
- Content Creators Network: This member network is the place for all involved in the creative process (writers, producers, directors, programming, etc.) to get together to network and discuss topics of interest. Open to all AWM members. *During the March 28 meeting, the Content Creators Network members participated in a dynamic presentation by Rachel Neel, Vice President of New Content at Lemonada Media. Ms. Neel shared the ins and outs on the creation of the Gracie Award winning podcast, Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The members in attendance were given a sneak peek behind the curtain and listened to behind-the-scenes audio not previously aired. After the meeting, the Network co-leader Jennifer Seelig said, “Rachel Neel is a supremely talented content creator. I enjoyed hearing her insight and perspective on the creative and editorial process, her (many!) successes, and our industry as a whole. What a fun and informative conversation!” The next Content Creators Network meeting will be scheduled for May. More information to come soon.
- Marketing/Communications/Sales Network: This member network is the gathering place for all involved with the marketing, communications, and/or sales side of the media business. They could be those in charge of marketing/comms/sales for their companies or for specific projects/programs. Open to all AWM members. *The next meeting will be on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 1pm ET and will include guest speaker Angela Megrey, VP of Social Media for Hallmark Media. Ms. Megrey will be discussing marketing successes amidst today’s challenges.
