Burnout — now an officially recognized condition — is becoming more prevalent, with one in four employees report experiencing symptoms of burnout frequently. In this module we’ll examine the causes and impact of burnout. We’ll talk about the importance of mindset and do a deep dive into the foundational skills of stress management: resting, breathing, eating, moving, and connecting. We’ll also cover the four A’s of stress: avoid, alter, accept, and adapt. Lastly, we’ll develop a path forward for managing our stress more effectively and eliminating burnout in the first place.
This session will be led by former brand marketers and advertising executives, now with Strong Training and Coaching Maureen Falvey, Elyssa Gray, and Kelly Harmon Schmitt.
